What is a License Key and why do I need one?
A license key permits My Estate Organizer to run fully enabled. If you don't have a License Key you can purchase one or get one from your financial advisor.
Note: If you don't have a license key you can still run in DEMO mode. In DEMO mode you will not be able to export, print or add multiple records. Any work you save will still be usable after you get a license key and are no longer using DEMO mode.
How do I determine if I am using the latest version?
You can determine which version you currently have by launching My Estate Organizer and choosing About My Estate Organizer... from the Help menu. The version number will appear on the top right corner of the About dialog box. Compare your current version number to the one indicated in the
Updates section of the Support tab. If there is a newer version available, download and run its installer to update your older version to the new one.
How do I best protect my information and ensure its available when needed?
When saving your profile choose to add password encryption. Give your password to your executor, financial advisor and trusted family members. Always keep an updated printed copy of your profile in your safety deposit box.
