New
Create a new profile. Typically you would have only one profile for you and your spouse but in some cases you may want you own individual profile.
Open...
Open an existing profile. If the profile was saved with a password, you will need to enter the correct password to open it.
Save
Save your profile. Do this often to ensure your information is not lost due to a power outage or computer crash.
Save As...
Save your profile with a different filename. You will be asked if you want to add password encryption to the profile you are about to save under a new name. See the Save Your Profile
section for information on password encryption.
Export...
Export your information into a CSV (comma separated values) file. The exported content will not contain any encryption and can be opened with most common spreadsheet, database or text editor programs.
Set Password...
Add, change or remove your password. If you don't already have a password for your profile you can add one. If you have a password, you will be asked if you want to change it or remove it.
Page Setup...
Printed page settings. Set parameters to help determine how a printed page will appear. The parameters can include everything from the paper size, margins, page orientation, and/or quality of print.
Print Preview...
See a reduced view of the printed profile on screen. This is helpful to ensure your printed profile appears as expected before you commit to printing it on paper. Click on the miniature page to see the next page. Exit previewing by hitting the Esc key on the top-left of your keyboard. NOTE: My Estate Organizer prints only the sections that contain content so only those sections will be seen.
Print...
Print your profile. Print a hard copy of your profile to place in your safety deposit box. Only the sections that contain information will print. Note: You can Print Preview... your profile first to ensure your page setup is correct and everything appears as expected (see Page Setup... and Print Preview... above).
Print Preview Unfilled Organizer...
See a reduced view of a blank printed profile on screen. This is helpful to ensure the blank printed profile appears as expected before you commit to printing it on paper. Click on the miniature page to see the next page. Exit previewing by hitting the Esc key on the top-left of your keyboard. NOTE: For an Unfilled Organizer My Estate Organizer prints all the sections so you will see all the sections when previewing.
Print Unfilled Organizer...
Print a blank profile. Only the sections that contain information will print. Note: You can Print Preview Unfilled Organizer... first to ensure your page setup is correct and everything appears as expected (see Page Setup... and Print Preview Unfilled Organizer... above).
Exit
Quits My Estate Organizer. If you have unsaved changes you will be asked to save.
